Food Safety Classes for Farmers Market Cooks and Bakers

Are you an entrepreneur cook and have a product you
would like to bring to the Farmers Market?
This Cottage Food Safety Class is the training you will need to bring your products to market.
In this training you will learn:
What foods are permissible in the Cottage Food Act
Basic Food Safety
Ingredient labeling and disclaimer requirements
Special considerations for food preparation at high altitudes
The instructors from Colorado State University Extension office will guide you through this training and be there to answer all of your questions. This class will also provide you with the nessesary certification to sell your products at the Farmers Market.
When: Monday, January 29th, 2018, 3–6:00 p.m.
