Respect Private Property.

While the Yampa River is public property, there are several sections that cut through private property. If you’re on a tube, kayak or paddleboard you need to respect the property of others, the privately owned sections will be posted as such. If you’re playing music on a Bluetooth speaker, turn the volume down to a respectable level as well as keeping your voice down too. Don’t stop in one of these privately owned sections and walk around on the banks, this is someone’s backyard and they probably won’t tolerate trespassers. Do not damage, destroy or litter on pieces of property, this includes breaking off limbs of trees overhanging the river and flicking cigarette butts into the water or banks.
