The Damon Wood Band was assembled in order to perform his 2021 (and 1990) compositions, and whatever comes next. Damon handpicked the musicians based on their unique talents, ideas and sense of humor, all of which contribute to the possibility of performing challenging material while occasionally chuckling. He credits Frank Zappa for much of the inspiration for the new material and the drive to keep writing, even when there were no gigs to write for.
