Halloween Stroll

  • Yearly, Every October 31

🎃 Get ready, Steamboat!
On October 31st, the City of Steamboat Springs shuts down Lincoln Avenue from 5–7 PM for the biggest Halloween bash in the Rockies—the Halloween Stroll!

This isn’t your average trick-or-treat. Our locals go all out with next-level costumes, fire dancers, drum circles, and a kids’ costume contest that’s just as competitive as it is adorable. You might even spot fairies on horseback or get a shiny penny (and some sass) from the legendary Over the Hill Gang.

Yes, there’s candy—lots of candy—but the real treat is the people-watching. Whether you’re costumed, spectating, or somewhere in between, it’s a night of weird, wild, and wonderful Steamboat fun.
